Revival Ministry Team Training Day

Learning to Flow with the Holy Spirit

Saturday 4th July 9:30am-3:30pm

As we continue to witness powerful encounters with the Holy Spirit during our Revival gatherings, we recognize the need to come together again as a ministry team to regroup, re-equip, and grow in wisdom.

Many of us have seen people deeply impacted by God's presence. Some have experienced physical healing, emotional healing, freedom from shame, overwhelming joy, holy laughter, or moments where they have become overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Whilst we celebrate what God is doing, we also recognize that we do not always fully understand what is happening in the moment.

This training day is designed to help us steward these encounters well.

Our desire is not to control what God is doing, but to honour His presence, bless His work, and learn how to partner with the Holy Spirit in a mature, safe, and submitted way.

Why This Training Matters

As a ministry team, we have a responsibility to create an environment where people can freely encounter God whilst being cared for, protected, and supported.

We want to learn:

  • How to recognise and respond to the Holy Spirit's activity.

  • How to minister effectively during Revival meetings.

  • How to keep people safe during powerful encounters.

  • How to flow together as a ministry team.

  • How to operate under spiritual authority and leadership.

  • How to support what God is doing, even when we do not yet fully understand it.

  • How to minister with humility, maturity, and discernment.

Often, the full fruit of an encounter is not immediately visible. Testimonies emerge days, weeks, or even months later. Our role is not to manufacture outcomes but to faithfully facilitate what the Holy Spirit is doing in the room, and with individuals.

What We Will Cover

Understanding Revival Ministry

What is our role when God begins to move powerfully?

How do we distinguish between facilitating and controlling?

How do we bless what God is doing whilst remaining grounded in biblical wisdom?

Practical Ministry Team Training

  • Ministering safely

  • Creating a safe environment

  • Working alongside ministry partners.

  • Knowing your role and responsibilities.

  • Understanding ministry team boundaries and limitations.

Learning to Flow with the Meeting

Every gathering is different.

Some meetings may have a strong emphasis on physical healing.

Others may focus on emotional restoration, freedom from shame, inner healing, deliverance, joy, or deeper encounters with God's love.

We will explore how to remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit and flow with the direction of the meeting rather than relying on a fixed ministry model.

Honour, Submission and Team Culture

Healthy Revival ministry requires healthy team culture.

We will look at:

  • Operating under the authority of the meeting leader.

  • Preparation
  • Who is released to give prophetic words.
  • Working together as one team.

  • Honouring one another.

  • Following direction in real time.

  • Maintaining unity whilst allowing freedom for the Holy Spirit to move.

Lessons from Previous Moves of God

We will draw from valuable principles developed during past revival movements, including lessons that emerged from the Toronto Blessing and other outpourings, whilst considering how these principles apply in today's ministry context.

We will discuss what remains helpful, what needs adapting, and how we can steward revival responsibly in our current season.

Who Should Attend?

This day is intended for:

  • Existing ministry team members

  • Mature believers who sense a call to ministry

  • Those serving during revival meetings

  • Christians who desire to support and steward the move of God

  • Those wanting to grow in practical ministry skills and spiritual maturity

Please note that attendance does not automatically imply ministry team commissioning or release into all areas of ministry. Part of this training will include understanding appropriate ministry responsibilities, team structures, partnerships, and pathways for future development.

Our Heart

We believe God is moving.

We are seeing lives transformed, burdens lifted, bodies healed, hearts restored, and people encountering the love and power of Jesus in fresh ways.

Our prayer is that we would become a ministry team that is mature enough to steward His presence, humble enough to follow His lead, and united enough to serve whatever He chooses to do.

We want to learn how to bless what God is doing, protect what God is doing, and partner with what God is doing.

Come and join us as we prepare to serve the move of God with wisdom, humility, and expectation.

"Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful." — 1 Corinthians 4:2
